Attention Advertisers:

In order to coordinate with a number of program deadlines as dictated by SDP's bylaws, the mailing schedule for The Decorative Painter has changed. To help plan your advertising campaigns, I am making you aware of the new publishing schedule.

Issue #2 mails approximately the last week of June.
Issue #3 mails approximately the last week of August. (Holiday issue)
Issue #4 mails approximately the last week of November. (Includes the Conference Special catalog)

Please note that Issue #3 is now the Holiday issue. This will give members more time to complete projects before the holidays.

Ads due:

Issue #1:  December 1

Because of this late notice, your deadline for issue #3 has been extended to July 13th.  If you need an extension, please let me know.

Advertising Opportunites

SDP Conference May 17-21, 2011 • Wichita, Kan.
This program book is free to all registered attendees and to all public attending expo.

If you are exhibiting at SDP’s Expo, an advertisement in the corresponding Program Booklet is invaluable. Painters carefully plan their Expo shopping adventure, highlighting the booths they wish to visit and often numbering them in priority order. A Program Book ad, (especially a color ad), puts you at an advantage, drawing the eye of your potential customers and putting you on their priority shopping list. Program Booklet ad space is limited. Send in your ad today!

The most referred-to publication and directory in the decorative painting industry. Your message could be seen and reinforced daily in this important referral resource.
The directory is a one-color publication, with a very limited four color advertising availability on the covers. It is sent free of charge to all business members. A limited number of editions are also available for sale to individual members. For the next year, your marketing message will be seen by the most influential people in the decorative market.

Because our advertising space in the directory is limited, your ad will be highly visible and have a tremendous impact. Yet the costs of advertising is low—a special half price off The Decorative Painter magazine rates. This really is your chance to take full advantage of this exceptional opportunity and make the most of your advertising dollars!

The Decorative Painter was the first and remains the most highly respected decorative painting magazine in the world. In its early years, its content helped define the art form of decorative painting and a multi-billion dollar industry grew up around the Society. The DP has always been a pioneer in identifying the needs and interests of serious decorative painters and its features, lessons and projects continue to set the standard in decorative painting excellence. Published quarterly, The DP is the official publication of the Society of Decorative Painters. With a long shelf life and the most passionate readership, The Decorative Painter is a classic. However, you won't find The DP on any newsstand. It is available exclusively to you as a member of the Society of Decorative Painters. Find out why decorative artists-from the novice to the most advanced-never throw away their Decorative Painter magazines.
