In this online video class, you will be introduced to the basics of transparent Telemark rosemaling including 'S' and 'C' strokes, scrolls, flowers, linework and backgrounding on the long panel, then will put the technique to practice on 3 lovely ornaments.

Lois Mueller has been painting since 1977 and teaching since 1979.  In 1998, she received a Gold Medal for Excellence in Rosemaling from Vesterheim, The Norwegian-American Museum in Decorah, IA (VGM--Vesterheim Gold Medalist).

Since that time she has written 8 rosemaling instructional books and has travel taught throughout the US, Canada and Taiwan.

In 2004, a violin painted by Lois was featured on the front cover of The Decorative Painter and a piano she painted was on the White House Christmas Tree.  She has met many friends through painting and hopes to meet even more.
